Hello my lovely friends, how are you on this cold and snowy day? It doesn’t seem like spring is coming anytime soon… The temperature is staying below zero and a white powder has thinly covered the outside world… 😬☃ Is it the same where you are? It’s so good to stay at home and have some fun with crafting 😁😜 and play with embossing technique and paint sticks).
For the last couple of weeks I’ve been having fun with embossing folders and paint sticks in many ways 😍 If you have no idea what I am talking about, you can read about three awesome and simple techniques and embossing technique itself and watch the videos in the post or just skip reading and go to my YouTube Channel and watch all the videos.
It’s been quite a busy month
Today I wanted to thank you for the first month of blogging with me – wow, it was fast and I never thought I would be making videos! 😆😂 It is quite a success for me personally – and I wouldn’t have done that if it wasn’t for you! Thank you ❤
To sum up…
Since the blog launch on 23 January I’ve shared with you one photo tutorial and three video tutorials. Each video has been viewed over 50 times! It may sound ridiculous compared to funny cat videos or other funny videos but – as they say – Rome wasn’t built in a day, right? (hahaha) Seriously, it is A LOT to me and you all deserve a big thank you for all your comments, likes, thumbs up and shares – keep it up, lovely people! 🙂
And today I have another video for you (the more I make of them, the easier it is to make them. The easier it is to make them, the more I can make! – that’s kinda scary 😂). You have probably seen the card I’m making here as I included it in the first video on embossing folders and paint sticks but you haven’t seen how it was made 😉 I promise it will take no more than 5 minutes 😊 So go ahead, keep reading for more and enjoy this short video 😊
Paint Sticks – episode 3
My recent favourite kind of paint and how to colour an embossed pattern – enjoy:
I can’t say this enough, the shine is enchanting really, holographic almost – you can’t see it in photos. And the paints are mess-free, you don’t need any brushes or water (you can use a little water to dilute the colours if they are too intense, though) and they are a lot of fun to play with kids! So you can have a lot of creative fun with the little ones! 😃
Moreover, they are very affordable, the largest set of 24 colours below £15 is a great price – especially that they will last you for long, even when you get crazy creative 😁 and you don’t need any special training or equipment to play with them, you can’t overdo the layers of different colours, the more you mix in the lovelier they shimmer 🤩 What’s not to love? 😍
You can buy paint sticks here:
- 24 colours – bumper pack (including 12 classic colours, 6 metallic colours and 6 neon colours)
- 12 Classic colours
- 12 Metallic colours (that’s what I’m going to get ASAP mine doesn’t have all those metallics!)
- 6 Day Glow colours (fluorescent)

If you enjoy my videos and the blog and you would like to support me, you can do so at no extra cost. By buying any products following the links I provide in my posts, you spend nothing more than you would otherwise. But I might get paid a little commission (by the seller and with no impact on what you pay). This would help me out immensely with the cost of maintaining the blog and I would very much appreciate it. Of course, you don’t have to buy the products if you don’t want to. I will still be happy to see you visit and enjoy the stuff I make. And it will still be awesome to know you like it 🙂
